Overnight oats are in our daily routine right now. We love their convenience and all the nutrients that you can pack in them. One of our favorite flavors is blueberry and I’m pretty sure that almost everyone loves blueberry. So make sure to give these blueberry overnight oats a try!

Overnight oats make the perfect breakfast, snack or pick-me-up for whenever you need, and they’re great as a grab-n-go.
We use them for Sunday mornings after Mass. All we have to do is pack them up in a lunch box with some spoons and just like that, we have a nourishing breakfast for right after Mass.
Oats are great for days of abstinence, ember days, and all throughout Lent as they provide a good amount of food for a snack.
During Lent, my husband is able to pack a jar in his lunch box and he gets lots of nutrients without eating more than one snack at a time.
Overnight oats are also super easy to make and customize. Whatever flavor you want, you can make them that.
Pinterest is full of flavors like peanut butter and jelly, and carrot cake. Flavors like that are on my oats bucket list, but a lot of times we like the basic flavors, like blueberry and chocolate chip.
I use a base of 1/2 cup of oats and 1/2 cup of milk. From there, I put in ingredients for whatever flavor we feel like.
A sweetener is a must, and our favorite to use is honey, though sometimes I like to use maple syrup instead. It depends on what flavor I’m going for. Here’s a great maple pecan overnight oats recipe to use some maple syrup.
Another bonus: they are so easy to make! Just line up your jars and fill them up!
Ingredients
1/2 cup oats. I use some organic sprouted oats.
1/2 cup milk. We always have organic cow’s milk, but of course any milk will work fine.
1 tbsp honey. The more local, the better!
1 tbsp yogurt. I like to put this in for a little probiotic kick, but you could leave this out.
1 tbsp chia seeds. These are great for providing protein and omega-3s.
A pinch of cinnamon. If you want.
Blueberries. Don’t forget them because they are the star ingredient in these oats. Add as many blueberries as you like. Measure with your heart.
Directions
Add all of the ingredients to a jar or whatever container you would like.
Put the cover on and give it a good shake.
Leave in the fridge overnight or at least for a couple hours.
And that’s it! I told you they were easy to make.
Enjoy Your Blueberry Overnight Oats!
They are now ready for your enjoyment.
Another bonus is that you can make as many as you want at a time. I make an assembly line with my jars and then go down the line with each ingredient.
Just this week, I had 8 jars lined up so we had 8 jars of blueberry overnight oats in the fridge ready to go for all week!
Make sure you add these blueberry overnight oats to your recipe collection!
